![]() ![]() She said she did and told me she'd spoken to the chef. I asked her if she'd seen the salad that was served. Several minutes later the manager came out to us and apologized and said she didn't want us to leave hungry. She apologized and said she would take care of it. I explained that the salad was inedible and the calamari was spoiled and rotten. We sat there, waiting for our missing server to come back. All I could do is hope my daughter didn't eat a bad piece and get sick while we were hours away from home. It was delicious at first, then it hit me- it was very spoiled! I immediately spit it into my napkin. I pushed it aside and popped a piece of calamari in my mouth. I can't imagine how it was allowed to leave the kitchen that way. To put it simply, if you were to multiply the usual amount of dressing x5, that is how much had been dumped on my salad. My daughter was on her second piece of calamari when I finally tasted my dressing drenched greens. We got calamari and a candied walnut and greens salad. A man served our appetizers, and she never returned with any real butter. I argued with that idea, so she said she would check with the kitchen to make sure and get back to me. The server came by to check on us, and when I asked if they had any real butter, she assured me that we had been served real butter. I do not eat margarine, and sure didn't expect this nice restaurant to serve it. The "butter" was whipped, salty margarine. We asked for a few more minutes, as we were still reviewing the menu on our phones-yes, we had to use our phones because they didn't offer us a real menu! We decided what we would have as our entrees, then took time to dig into the bread she'd brought a few mins earlier. She was never pleasant, but very rushed to get us served and out the door. She brought us a small loaf of bread and some "butter", and then asked if we knew what we would like to order, because "the kitchen will be closing soon". She brought our water and asked if we would like to order. I felt horrible making a reservation so close to closing time! No wonder they were calling for us to come in early! The man who greeted us assured us that it was fine and not to worry at all. We got there at 9:20, 10 mins before our reservation time and noticed the hours posted on the door listed closing time as 10pm. They were calling to let me know that our table was ready early, in case we wanted to come in early. Concerned that there was confusion, and not wanting to miss our dinner, I called the restaurant to confirm. I received a text message at 8:40 to let me know our table was ready. My daughter and I had driven to Easton Town Center for a celebration getaway, and we thought this swanky restaurant would be the perfect place to have dinner. Online hours listed closing time as 11pm. I'll attach a photo of how empty the place was when we left if I can. but I have yet to have had a dinner impacted by anything other than crappy service and attitudes. Really sick of the poor service at most restaurants right now. I WOULD have gotten another $80 in entrees and cocktails if I wasn't so pissed off at the poor service. So really, our waitress just didn't give a flying hoot about what we wanted, she wa either too lazy to walk 50 extra feet to our table or afraid she'd lose us to another waiter or something. Who in there right mind would show up for dinner any later than 6pm if you had a dance at 8? Finally, liar liar pants on fire. So if there really were going to be homecoming couples sat over there then the restaurant had made that decision to group them, effectively saying my Anniversary wasn't as important. Now, if you make a reservation there is Nowhere to request a specific table. My wife sensed that she didn't want to help and that my demeanor was about to change from polite to less polite, so she said we would stay at the table we were at. The waitress said they had a LOT of homecoming reservations that would be coming in and she was very unwilling to help. When the waitress came over I very politely asked if we could be moved to the other section of the restaurant with lower lighting, quieter music, and away from the crowd (only 3 couples, very well spaced). The place was practically empty except for where we were at. ![]() When we entered we were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" then sat at a table with a speaker directly overhead, the sun in our eyes, directly next to a table of 10 high school girls giggling, and in a corner of the restaurant where EVERYONE was sitting. Went there for my 18th Anniversary dinner with my wife and daughter today. ![]()
